To support the improvement efforts of subsistence agriculture in the Yawanawa villages (Acre), the Alok Institute partnered with the companies Grupo RZK – Rezek and Primavera Máquinas, who donated a tractor and agricultural implements.
The machines, donated in March 2023, will facilitate the processes of soil preparation for food planting.

The Yawanawa people, after years of living under the mental and spiritual slavery imposed by the rubber bosses in the 1970s, freed themselves in 1984, expelling all non-indigenous invaders from their territory. This revolution happened thanks to the young people of the villages. Since then, the Yawanawa people resume their cultural and spiritual manifestations supported by the elders, by the sages who still keep all our knowledge of the tradition and cosmovision of their ancestors.
