The Alok Institute embraces the LGBTI+ National Alliance in the LGBTI+ Diversity and Representativeness project, a joint initiative of the LGBTI+ National Alliance, Grupo Dignidade, Cassia and UNA LGBTI-PR.
The project includes support for the 5th edition of the March for Diversity and two other events (from July 01 to 03, 2022), in Curitiba – PR.
Education for the Labor Market and Entrepreneurship
With the objective of expanding the role of LGBTI+ youth, the event promotes discussions, preparation for the job market and entrepreneurship, emphasizing the importance of education and the promotion of human rights. The event is in person but the recorded material is available on digital platforms.
Protagonism and Representation
A space for exchange with the objective of promoting new visions of the world, as well as integrating the struggles for the defense of common agendas based on dialogues and exchanges of experiences.
The space that women and non-binary people occupy in society is, in fact, a constant dispute. In politics, in companies, in education and even in family nuclei, the consequences of learning from childhood what the role of women and men is, how they should behave and what they should dream of ends up limiting and creating gigantic barriers to authentic development of identities. Therefore, it is essential that we rethink these spheres collectively, with testimonies and sharing of experiences.
