About Prisma Solidário
Founded in 1997, the NGO Prisma Solidário was established in Vila dos Cabanos, Barcarena, to primarily support families living in settlement areas and other vulnerable communities. Driven by community mobilization, the organization sought to provide educational, cultural, and social inclusion opportunities for children, adolescents, and adults. Since then, it has continued its work with resources from its founding members, as well as in partnership with the Barcarena City Hall, gradually increasing its local impact over the years. The NGO carries out projects that combine sports, culture, and educational support as tools to transform lives and strengthen family and community bonds.
